Assembly member for Besease – Jamasi electoral area, Mr Samuel Danquah has donated learning materials to final year students of two basic schools of his area.
He donated 130 Mathematical sets, 150 pens and rulers at a cost of over 600 GHS to Saviour International School and Besease M/A JHS respectively.
The brain behind the donation is to boost the confidence of the students as they prepare to write their final exams (BECE) come next week.
Mr. Samuel Danquah, affectionately called Hon. SS spoke to the Daily Dispatch Newspaper; he revealed his major priority to be on the promotion of education in his electoral area and Ghana at large.
Therefore he thought it necessary to contribute the items to the final year students to serve as a morale booster as they approach their final exams next week.
Hon. SS has got on the charity for years now. He has promised to continue with it.
But then, the headmistress of Besease M/JHS, Madam Angelina AkyeaaTwumasi thanked the philanthropist (Hon.SS) for the wonderful endowment.
She declared that the souvenir will escalate their confidence (students) as they commence their final exams next week.
Madam Akyeaahighlighted that her students are very prepared.
She anticipates a 100% pass results for them at the end of the final test.
